Half empty or Half full?

blog buih

Sorrow drips into your heart through a pinhole, just like a faucet that leaks and there is a comfort in the sound.
But while you debate half empty or half full, it slowly rises, your love is gonna drown.

Mathematician.

-cakes undone.
blog buih

I used to be pretty god at maths. Not in the beautiful mind kind of way but enough to earn me As. Ok, maybe that was back in the days when I can think straight.

Years have gone by since i flick through a book to do all these little math equations. Yeah, there are far more important things in life now. Like thinking "what's for dinner?" and "oohh that's hot".

If my sister were to ask me to help out with her homework, I don't think I'll be able to. Ok, maybe I could if i try hard enough but i never did try hard enough in the first place.

Eventually, there comes a day when you need to recall your math solving prowess. As you sit there, thinking of all the formulas and see them flying above your head like a cheap TV show from the 80's only to realize that it does not add up. It does not make sense. You don't know a thing bout maths.

Then the denouement hit me.

It doesn't really matter what the figure is if you've found out that One plus One equals everything.

Fly away.

-electric eel.
blog buih

I can fly. Well i think i can.

I've flown before. Well at least i felt that i have.

This state of elevation, though it may not appear to be one experienced in a physical sense has the same consequences.

If one flies to high, the air is going to get thinner. It will be suffocating. To make it worst, I'm notorious for my acrophobia.

My mind spinning in vertigo. Her smile and porcelain like skin infatuating. It's starting to hurt.

Gasping for air.

I remembered then, what a friend told me once.

"Jaga2 kalau terbang tinggi, nanti jatuh sakit"

Well there's the ultimate downside to flying. It either suffocates you or leave you splattered on the ground. Lifeless.

And I've been there too. Bits and pieces of me everywhere.

Now I have put myself together. Once again, I learn to fly.

What a day!

blog buih

On the way back from the bank, as I was driving leisurely along Jalan Ipoh, suddenly a part of the roof of an old building flew off.

It nearly hit me and my car if i didn't swerve.

Then, at the U-turn towards Jalan Pahang, as i was texting, waiting for the light to turn green, I heard a loud band. I thought a bomb exploded or something fell from the sky.

It was in fact, one of the tires of a lorry that has exploded. Nonetheless, the sound was very loud and traumatized me a bit.

Extreme Park

blog buih

Hanged out at Extreme Park in Shah Alam yesterday. It's a great place. Youths hang out and spend their time doing healthy activities.

But there was a bunch of guys who made me laugh. We were taking pictures at the big boulders and along came these guys and some chicks.

Maybe it was trying to impress the girls, three of them climbed up the boulder. And made some jokes from the top of the tallest boulder. Then they decided they wanted to leave.

Or so they thought.

The first among the three couldn't climb down. It was really hilarious. As the boys and girls tries to help him out. Even the resident climber came over to help him out.

He was literally shaking on the boulder with a stud earring and a NY cap, his friends shouted:

"Macha, it's ok macha...we catch you.."

Rescue Mission.

Like a well timed cue in a Hollywood action movie, Mum call me as I was about to reverse the car.

"Help me out!"

"What's wrong?"

"I locked my room, all my keys are inside."

So I turned off the ignition. Walked out of the car. Went up. Tried turning the knob a few times.

"Maybe a good tug will undo the locks. " I wished. Obviusly, it didn't budge.

Mum was already eager to call the locksmith. That would have easily cost us at least RM50.

Finally. I had an idea. I saw an opening from one of the windows in her room. I pulled the ladder and placed it firmly underneath the window. I called the maid to climb up. She's just physical not as challenged as I was. she squeezed through the windows successfully.

End of movie.

The Tank.

It was very taxing for me. Luckily my brother had a bucket full of patience.

We were at the house from 5.30. We planned to go snap some pics at around dawn. Yet there were many difficulties. Obstacles that presented itself before us that hinders our initial plan.

First of all the water tank broke. Making a useless heap of plastic on the top of the shop lot. Much more useless then a Gargoyle. At least a gargoyle would look cool.

Then came the part where the workers had insufficient equipment to do the job. You pay peanuts, you get monkeys.

Well they do look like monkeys.

We went home at 9.30

My brother sat at the same spot waiting for me for 4 hours.

Ease of use 10
I bought Boboy photog 2.0 after hearing about this from a close friend. Come on, it's a service how hard can it be?

Sound quality 10
This is where it really shines. Very quiet low noise. In fact you'll be hard pressed to know it's turned on at all but once off you'll really notice the loss of the shimmer and the high end sheen.

Reliability 10
I bought this used. For it's age the years have been kind. Others than some scruff marks and dings and dongs it works perfectly. And it's robust built I am pretty sure it'll last me a long time.

Customer Support 10
The best. Boboy (a.k.a Buih) is only a phone call away and he always comes across as a fine gentleman who's genuinely interested in his customer's needs.

Overall Rating a solid 10!
I don't know how I ever manage without this! If it was stolen I'd hunt down the perpetrator and skew him alive. Then I'll go out to order me one more. Yes it's indispensable.

Uluwatu.

Rice terraces of Tegalalang.
blog buih

Uluwatu, if you have never been to the its geographical location, might be closely associated to a boutique bearing the same name which sells Balinese lace.

In reality it's a place located at the southern most tip of Bali. No, it does not have any shop selling Balinese lace there.

However, there is a temple there and this entry is about my experience at the temple.

The temple is known for, besides its majestic scenery over seeing the Ocean from a high cliff, the abundance of primates /monkeys in its compound.

Let it be known time and again, I'm not fond of animals. i don't hate them but I don't like them.

Luckily for me, my sister likes animal a lot. She was pretty excited to see the monkeys lined up en route down to the temple. We were warned earlier to remove all shiny objects like sunglasses and cameras as they have the tendency to take them in exchange for food.

The walk down was worth it as we reach the temple walls as we can enjoy a great view of the sea.

We pulled out the camera for a quick picture before keeping it in the bag again on the way out of the temple.

Semalam buat kali pertama dalam tahun 2010 aku melangkah masuk studio jamming. Dulu kalau tak selalu jamming. Sampai at one point tu seminggu sekali. Sekarang semua dah ada perkara yang lebih penting dalam hidup dari ingat chord dan lirik2.

Semalam aku melangkah masuk sebagai seorang jurugambar. Yeah, amik gambar band is always my passion.

These guys are crazy. 2 hours flew by pretty fast as I walk about snapping away while layan lagu2 diorang. Though at a premature stage, i think the songs they have will turn out nice.

I had a great time.
