"Take us to Concorde" Said Mama.
"Ok Ok!" The bus driver said in a harsh tone. Almost everybody i had a conversation with in Singapore uses that tone.
*******
About 15 minutes later.
"Your stop here!" The driver said in his usual manner.
As we stood at the bus stop, looking around to get clue of our location it dawned on us that he had mistaken "Concorde" with "Conrad".
So of we menapak* and decided to go to Arab Street instead of the hotel for some breakfast.
*menapak - a common term for walking used throughout my life which my sister found amusing.
